A 36-year-old woman identified as Abiola died in Lagos last week while undergoing a buttock enlargement procedure at a clinic in the Lekki-Phase 1 area of the state.
She was billed to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift or buttock enlargement, also known as buttock augmentation. This surgical procedure involves removing fat from other parts of the body and injecting it into the buttocks to achieve a rounder and fuller shape.
According to PUNCH Metro, the clinic owner instructed a nurse to give an injection to the young woman, shortly after which she lost consciousness and was later confirmed dead.
